Welcome to part 3 of how I decorate for Christmas. You can see part 1 and 2 here. So now iv shown you the salon and the master bedroom and hallway, its time to show you the gust bedroom and kitchen. The guest rooms For the main guest bedroom where my nephew and sister stay I do a Disney theme. And as we were taking my nephew to Disneyland Paris, it was totally perfect for him and nice to have a bit of fun on a style that I wouldn't usually choose. The majority of these decorations were from Primark The Kitchen No where is safe in our home from Christmas...Not even the kitchen. I love to have lots of cute and sweet treats around for our guests. These cookies from Fortnum and Mason are such a hit that we get them every year. And is it even Christmas without sugar mice. The wrapping I also absolutely love to think of cute wrapping themes. Its always a challenge to find a theme that is both masculine and festive (as it’s for the hubbs) and I have to stifle my pink obsession (which I usually save for my Sister and friends) . Last year I did this Green white and gold theme which I was really pleased with. I added green satin ribbon and gold grosgrain ribbon with artificial glittery twigs (found at mason du mode and chopped up). Some golden snowflakes added a little bit of holiday sparkle and an be used as additional decorations next year. I did this gold and white theme for my Sister and friends which was a big hit. I added little white pom poms and white snowflakes to decorate. And it wouldn't be fair not to show you how the hubb's wrapped my presents. I have say every year he absolutely brings it and always manages to surprise and delight. This years wrapping was one of my favorites with this glittery flocked paper and all of the beautiful embellishments. It was an absolute happy accident that it matched my bedroom tree and Christmas decor. And that's a wrap on last years decorations. I cant wait to get started on this years, as they seem to get better and better as time goes on :-)
Are you as crazy for the Christmas decorations as I? Belle Xx

The Hallway
I feel like our home was made for events, and has so many cute and cosy areas that it is just crying out for event dressing. With that in mind I like to really create an impactful entrance in the hallway and this is where I placed my pink and gold tree. This tree was inspired by my favorite colors and our wedding color palette. So you decided to embark on a journey and start planning your own wedding, cutting the middleman. It makes financial sense to arrange your own wedding; you will be in control of everything, and save money at the same time. after all you don't want someone else taking credit for your hard work and creativity. However, it is crucial that you are aware of the timelines, so you don’t end up disappointed not being able to secure your preferred venue or service. Below you will find a few services you have to book as soon as possible. Photography Wedding photographers tend to be busy during the main season, so you need to make a decision as soon as possible, as the best ones are booked up early. Evaluating wedding photographer services and portfolios will take time, so it is never too early to start. Do your research locally, visit websites, and read client testimonials. I actually found mine via Pinterest! You want to be sure that you are picking the right person to capture the most important moments of your relationship. Make sure you feel comfortable with he/ she and you have a good vibe Transport Logistics are really important when it comes to weddings. You need to ensure that you have your classic car (vintage jaguar anyone?) or other form of transport booked on time. Imagine having to arrive at your wedding in a mini van, no one wants that! Its a good idea for you to stay in touch with the company and update them on the dates, times, and special requirements, so you can give them enough notice to get ready and have the capacity to transport you and your guests from one wedding location to another. Entertainment Your music and entertainment also needs to be tailored to the needs of your guests and the theme of your wedding. If you are planning your own wedding, you might not have the same connections as a professional event planner, so researching the options will take you much longer. Ask for demos and check out the potential entertainers’ YouTube channel, so you can create a shortlist and choose the right service. Invitations and Decoration
You might decide to create your own invitations and decoration, but you can also outsource this task to a local artist or decoration company. Whether you are using online templates or using a freelance designer, you have to get the service ordered several months before the wedding date, so you can send out the invites on time, and allow your potential guests to plan ahead. Catering You simply don’t want to spend your wedding day worrying about the menu and the food. Everything needs to be in place; from the cutlery and table decor to the timing of serving each course, or cutting the cake. You might want to start by creating a daily schedule that will help you plan the different phases and make sure that your guests feel comfortable and don’t get bored or hungry. Planning your own wedding is a challenging task, and you need to step up your game when it comes to project management. You might want to create a diary and a separate folder, so you can put everything in place by the time you are ready for the big day. Choose the theme, book the services, and don’t forget to follow up on your requests. Happy planning Belle Xx Winter cinema at the Berkely hotel has been on my Christmas wish list for what must be forever, but iv never managed to be organised enough to book before availability runs out. So when Tony surprised me with date night during our Christmas weekend in London, I was over the moon.
