I can't quite believe that iv been writing ( I say writing, I really mean showcasing photography) for over a year and I am only just posting about my all time favourite city, Paris.
I fully intend to do an in depth post on our favourite places to see, eat and stay (as we have pretty much visited this city every year for the past 13 years), but to get started here's what we got up to last spring in the most beautiful city in the world
I feel like I know Paris better than any city, even London. And my husband and I have so many favourite places to visit when we are here. For us, its a city full of special and happy memory's.
It here that my husband took me on our first trip together. And here that he proposed and we then celebrated our first wedding anniversary.
For this particular weekend we stayed at Hotel Powers
I have a real fondness of this hotel. It feels very boutique and Parisian. With its chandeliers and its beautifully detailed ceilings
And has lovely views of beautiful Parisian architecture
Its the perfect romantic base for exploring the city
The perfect way to start of your weekend is to head to Laduree for a [spot of petit dejunner. We have been visiting laduree again, for around 13 years( way before they opened all over the world)... and yes it has gotten very touristy but there is no denying its always so beautiful. And so my style
We love Laduree so much that we had them cater our desert table for our wedding in Provence. This particular weekend we headed to the Ladurée Paris Champs Elysées. If you can grab a seat upstairs, do. Its beautiful
Order a cafe creme and basket of freshly baked croissants before setting out to enjoy the city
But remember to save room for a delicious lunch and dinner as you make your way around the city, as Paris is filled with the most amazing places to eat...
