During our festive trip to Edinburgh, we stopped by The Balmoral hotel for afternoon tea at the Palm court. Festive afternoon teas are a tradition for for us and we are always looking to try new one's. This would be my first Scottish afternoon tea... how exciting!

Where possible we try and come home to the U.K as much as possible over the festive season, as to be quite frank no where does Christmas like it. Spain certainly has its own Christmas traditions, some of which we have come to love but nostalgia has us craving home soil.
The Hallway
I feel like our home was made for events, and has so many cute and cosy areas that it is just crying out for event dressing. With that in mind I like to really create an impactful entrance in the hallway and this is where I placed my pink and gold tree. This tree was inspired by my favorite colors and our wedding color palette. Winter cinema at the Berkely hotel has been on my Christmas wish list for what must be forever, but iv never managed to be organised enough to book before availability runs out. So when Tony surprised me with date night during our Christmas weekend in London, I was over the moon.
We have been lucky enough to enjoy Afternoon Tea at Claridge's before, but not for Festive afternoon tea. So, When it came to deciding on which festive Afternoon Tea to do next as is our annual tradition, we decided on the world famous and oh so gorgeous Claridge's.
Christmas movie night is a time-honored tradition in our home. We take it very seriously... I'm talking movies scheduled by day, festive snack bars, hot chocolate and roaring fireplaces. There's nothing like switching the world off, cosying up in your own family bubble and getting lost in the magic of a movie. And movies don't come more magical than festive ones.
Whats even better is, with technology where it is today you don't even need to leave your own home. You can turn your own space into a luxury cinema with all the trimming. Panasonic has some amazing high definition televisions, with the most beautifully bright, colorful display. Please Santa...all I want for Christmas is a 4k led TV Panasonic under my tree!
Before I start, id like to say to fully disclose that my husband and I are totally crazy about Christmas. We like to go ALL out. To some it may seem excessive, to others not nearly excessive enough... but ultimately we really enjoy all of the Christmas traditions, decorating and the celebrations that comes with the festive season. So with all of that said, i'll show you how I decorate our home for the festive season.
I'm going to separate the posts into sections across the week, so I don't bombard you all with too many images in one go. Last December we took my sister and nephew to Disneyland Paris to get us all in the festive spirit
One of our beloved Christmas traditions is our annual trip to London to shop for presents and get our Christmas vibe on. London is such a special place at Christmas, and really puts you in the Christmas spirit.
As the festive season approaches, I thought id share some of my favourite ways to get into the festive spirit.
