If you fancy a night of candle light, dinner and dancing whilst visiting Marrakech I highly recommend Comptoir Darna One of the things I love about Marrakech (I love may things about Marrakech in case you couldnt tell) is that by night it transforms into something completly glamorous and decedent. Comptoir is all luscious fragrant roses (total win in my book) candlelight and fabulous cocktails and had a similar but much more refined vibe to Jad Mahal (I wrote about it here) Put on your high heels and evening dress head out for the most fabulous experience. They put on quite the show at comptoir. The live music and dancing candelabra ladies create such an exotic and glamorous vibe And the food doesn't disappoint either. Who knew id become such a fan of Moroccan cuisine. And don't be surprised (or shy) if they get you to dance too, its somewhat expected and lots of fun...

Trying to leave El Fenn to venture out into Marrakech is not easy for the best reasons.
It had the loveliest spaces to explore and discover. Kind of like your staying at your fabulous friends house who has great style.
You cant walk down a corridor without finding something interesting to look at or a peacock chair to pose on (much to my husbands annoyance)
So when you do decide to leave, it had better be worth missing out on such a gorgeous place.
But le Jardin IS totally worth it. In fact id say its an absolute must. Its a super cute restaurant in the courtyard garden of a 16th Century riad
It would be worth a trip for the super cute styling alone (who would have thought id love somewhere almost entirely decorated in shades of green), but Le Jardin was one of the best lunches iv had in Marrakech to date.
As with many places iv visited in Marrakech, I found the interior design of El Jardin to be so unique and inspiring. Le jardin is all flower chairs, jewel tones green tile and fiddle leaf fig trees.
Order a mint lemonade while you take in the vibe and peruse the menu.
I ordered the Chicken and pear tagine and i'm not exaggerating when I say i'm still dreaming of it now. My husband ordered the chicken cous cous with apricots and pistachios which was equally as good so we ended up sharing.
We ordered the Tart poire tatin with spiced caramel sauce to finish which again was incredible.
And we finished with a pot of my favourite mint tea, which I could drink by the bucket load and am still trying to master at home!
After the best first day ever in Amsterdam flower shopping, we were ready for another day exploring the city of tulips and canals. While we were putting together our itinerary for places to eat in Amsterdam, we came across Pluk. It’s one of those places that you cant miss while researching places to eat in Amsterdam, its totally insta famous And for good reason. Pluk is this little cafe come shop in the 9 streets and serves fresh breakfast and lunches with a side of cuteness. Everything is not only gorgeous, but you can eat healthily here and not realise because it all tastes so good. And for those (namely, me) who fancy something a little bit naughtier they have the most delicious freshly baked cakes! Cappuccinos come with free love hearts and a baby stoopwafel! Thats me sold... Blue dress Here Pluk is definitely worth a lunch or cake stop. Id be sure to stick it on your itinerary
Belle Xx El hombre and I are total foodies, and are always looking for new places to try. Barcelona, has become somewhere that we've had some of our most incredible and interesting food experiences in. It seems to me that its a city totally on its gastronomic game right now.
Last year we had the most incredible experience at Moments, Mandarin Oriental. This year one of the new restaurants we tried was Lasarte
This week some friends and I headed into Puerto Banus to check out Rosa's cafe in search of flower walls and pink lattes. If you have ever been to Elan cafe in knightsbridge or Menagerie Manchester, Rosa's would be right up you're street! Only here you have the added bonus of the Spanish sun.
Despite to glorious sun we actually chose to sit inside, because it was too cute not to. Think flower walls, rose gold details and macron towers
There is something for everyone on the menu, from cakes & macaroons to smashed avocado and smoothies. I suppose it depends if you are being a food angel or devil...
We ordered rosa's lattes (pink of course) made even cuter with the prettiest of coffee art.
And Rosa's eggs - Two organic poached eggs with avocado, tomato and caramelised onion. Id never had caramelised onion with avocado before and it was a revelation. And special mention to the perfectly poached eggs.
One of my favourite thing to do when visiting Paris, is have coffee and Patisserie at Laduree. We have been visiting laduree for probably around 15 years, and it has remained (despite becoming increasingly popular, especially tourists) a firm favourite.
No matter how busy it continues to get, we will always go back. Firstly, its just too pretty not to. Secondly, it hold lots of sentimental value for us. And thirdly, who makes macrons this well and this fresh?
I first came to know about Laduree, on our very first trip to the city. I kept on seeing these ladies walking around with gorgeous pistachio green paper carrier bags with gold writing on them
I was determined to find out where this shop was. At this point I didn't even know what it sold, but I knew that if the carrier bags alone were so cute the things they sold must be even cuter. When we finally tracked the place down I was absolutely delighted that it was the prettiest patisserie I had ever seen... with cakes that are too cute to eat.
And so our love affair (my husband is also a fan) with Laduree began. We go every time we visit Paris. We even had our wedding cake and favours from here. And on our first wedding anniversary, my husband had a miniature replica version delivered to our hotel in Paris.
Laduree also reminds me of my favourite movie Marie Antoinette, by Sofia Coppola. There is something about the pastel, sugar coated styling of this movie that makes me want to watch it over and over.
My advice, always try and request a table upstairs no matter which Laduree you visit. It always quieter and always cuter up there believe it or not. The Laduree on the Champs-Élysées has the most beautiful restaurant of them all, while downstairs tends to be super busy with tourists.
They have even started to open up Laduree Patisseries all over the world. There is a super cute one in covent garden -London and we recently went to one in Abu Dhabi...
They also sell the most beautiful candles that smell divine and look super cute. They come in so may fragrances, some of them smell of the actual pastries and cakes. One of my favourites is the orange blossom... Incredible. I think I have over 20 of these candles i'm so obsessed with them. I display them in my dressing room all lined up and covered with glass belle jars
Are you a fan of pretty French patisseries? Belle We started my Birthday celebrations a week early in Paris this year (meaning I totally had a birthday week) It made sense to stop off in Paris on our way home from Vietnam rather than coming home for a week only to fly out again... especially after being away from home for so long already When my husband asked me where id like to go for my Birthday without hesitation I said Paris. Id been craving my Paris fix for a while now (we try too visit every year) and its still my favourite city in the whole world (read my other posts about Paris here and here) We started the celebrations at my Favourite hotel The plaza athenee. The restaurant here is quite simply (in my opinion, and i'm sure many others) the most beautiful in Paris. We visited a few times for breakfast, lunch and dinner and it absolutely is the most amazing experience. Breakfast here is the ultimate fabulous treat. Its like eating breakfast on a sumptuous fluffy sparkly cloud, while angels pour you coffee. No exaggeration. Now lets talk about petit dejunner. You are presented with the most decadent cake stand filled with pastries so incredible they come with their own little booklet. Whilst they were all beyond epic, my absolute favorite was the kouglof, an alsacian specialty. The most moist brioche iv ever tasted, with an amazing blossom scent. And then there was the pain perdu. I have literally never tasted french toast like this. It was soft, fluffy and moist and melted in the mouth. Iv said before, breakfast is my favorite meal of the day despite the fact that I rarely eat it. But when I do, I do it right. Its quite simply the most fabulous breakfast in Paris. Plaza athenee i'll be back soon
For as long as I can remember I have wanted to visit the witchery for Halloween. Finally I got the chance and I grabbed it with both hands. Not only had I not been to the witchery by the castle but I had never been to Edinburgh. So it was about time I rectified both points
Things to do
Unlike most markets, they aren't too pushy which really helps when your trying to get a good look at all the interesting thing they have on offer. Look out for yummy teas and spices Sundays in Paris were made for long luxurious breakfasts and pottering around the city And one of the best places for a luxurious breakfast is Le Meurice. After all, what could be more luxurious than breakfast in a ballroom? Restaurant Le Meurice is Inspired by the Salon de la Paix at the Château de Versailles, and I promise you will feel every bit as fabulous as Marie Antoinette herself here . Recently rejuvenated by Philippe Starck, the rococo ceiling is something else Crystal chandeliers of dreams hang from the ceilings and and elegant frescoes adorn the walls and ceilings I really love the ceremony of breakfast. The freshly ground coffee being poured and the "just out of the oven" croissants and pastries arriving. Along with freshly squeezed juice and fruit plates. Its wonderful to have no plans other to savour every moment of the day And take in the twinkling lights of the Chandeliers. Before heading off into the fresh spring morning to make new memories. And after you have taken in more of the city, its time for another cafe creme, this time in my all time favourite hotel The Plaza athenee. I absolutely intend to do a full post about this wonderful hotel in the future but for now I'll show you a fab spot for coffee and a dose of luxury And did I mention that the Plaza Athenee was were my husband proposed? So it truly is a special place for us. Dress is ASOS. Handbag is Chanel La Galerie is just the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy a fabulous cocktail or in my case a cafe creme. Incredibly stylish but also reassuringly relaxing, have a spot of lunch or even afternoon tea
