After a delightful few days on Praslin Island, we departed on a slightly grey day to our next Island, Félicité. Félicité is the Island that put the Seychelles on my bucket list. After staying at the Six Senses Yao noi in Thailand a couple of years earlier I looked at every six senses resort in anticipation of our next Vacay. And when I came across Six senses Zil Pasyon I was floored. Not even an overcast day could take away the impact of this place Félicité is the ultimate James Bond island. Its somewhere I could imagine in pre historic times, with dinosaurs roaming. And its not just the Island that is beautiful. The resort really adds the cream to the coffee. My jaw literally dropped at the first views of our Villa I love it when hotels make the very best of a unique location, especially when they go with the flow of the natural landscape. Everything is built around what was already there, yet nothing feels like a compromise. And so well established for such a new resort. Its the clever attention to detail that sets it apart and makes it something truly special . A private hammock in the jungle for two at the back of the Villa along with an outdoor shower on the granite rocks Giant beds, with the softest sheets. Vaulted ceilings and a view to die for. Every need is anticipated to enhance your stay. Its seems they know what you need before you do... And a bathroom made for the Gram to truly inspire those insta poses Vintage board games and beautiful coffee table books, just in case you tire of exploring paradise or swinging on your bathroom swing I take this dressing gown with me on all of my travels as its lightweight, comfortable and perfect for getting ready in. Dressing gown by Pretty plum Sugar Im so passionate about hotels (not all hotels, just the ones that get it right) that when I find ones that tick my boxes I get this feeling of being overwhelmed with excitement. I want to see and discover everything, feel everything, photograph everything and I never want to leave. It really is a skill to create an experience the way that Six senses Zil Pasyon did. Bravo Places to lounge, places to swim, places snooze... its all covered. And to top it all of you get the nightly sunset over the Indian ocean from an infinity pool of dreams...

On our final day on Praslin we went for one last stroll on the beach to take in the last memory’s of its gorgeous beaches. As the rain clouds rolled in, it took on an entirely different appearance. There’s something about a stormy beach that I find incredibly romantic And the way the tones of the landscape change depending on the weather is incredible. Dress is by Pretty little thing We were really going to miss Praslin, but there’s nothing like a new adventure and the excitement of experiencing a new island.
Anse Lazio is often amongst the most beautiful beaches in the world to visit, and it was right next to our hotel. So needless to say we took walks there whenever we could. The Praslin is such a lovely calm and laid back island, that its a pleasure to walk about it and take in the vibe and the sights Quaint ram shacked huts and palm trees line the roads on one side, glorious beaches on the left. Praslin is really quite the charming place And lush green palm trees are everywhere up the hill on the walk to the beach. And when you get there you'll find out what all the fuss is about. Anse Lazio is gorgeous. Crystal clear water and perfect white sand...and those amazing giant granite boulders and rocks that truly sets it apart. And they are prefect for a photo op... And to make it feel even more dream like, we had the beach too ourselves... And when your finished swimming your day away and posing on granite rock you can take some shelter from the sun under the giant coconut trees We took a break from relaxing for lunch at Bonbon plume which is right on the waters edge just as a mid afternoon shower broke. We tried some wonderful Creole dishes with our feet and the sand and salt in our hair And finished it off with some wonderful cake...because you have to have cake when it rains, right? After a truly glorious day of sun, sand and granite boulders we set of back to Raffles Taking in more Island life and banana trees... Crystal waters and granite boulders. Perfection
