A Romantic weekend in Paris- Part Deux

As I mention is my earlier post, my husband took me away for a weekend in Paris to Celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. Paris is and has always been "our" place. It has so many memories for us and has been the backdrop for some of the most special occasions in our life together.

​So it was the perfect city to celebrate such a special occasion

After checking intoour hotel we took to the street of Paris in search of views new and old. Paris is a city that's ever evolving and new places to love are always popping up. 

But the old favourites still have their place for us. We took a table at our favourite cafe in Paris Saint-Germain Les deux magots. It was one of those wonderful, sun filled evenings with just the slightest breeze. The light was golden and the air filled with anticipation of the weekend to come.  

A couple of cafe cremes and the best croque- Monsieur in town later and we were ready take in more views of our favourite city. 

We strolled about our one of our favourite areas of Paris (St. Germain) at golden hour taking in the glorious architecture for hours and hours. In my book its the perfect way to spend the evening

And with weather this perfect, its only right to be out in it! The golden sunlight making the city look even more gorgeous than ever! On day's like this i'm reminded of why Paris is truly my favourite city to enjoy life,

Shopping is great, but when you have a suite at the Ritz to enjoy you cant's stay away for too long
