This month I was lucky enough to receive THE best beauty box iv ever received to date... hand down. Where has cohorted been all of my life!!! I am a massive beauty subscription box fan, so I cannot believe that I hadn't come across until recently...especially as its the no. 1 luxury beauty box!
Having a beauty box subscription box delivery each month feels to me like having a little birthday present arrive each month. Super exciting, and the possibility to try fabulous new products
When I opened the box and saw the Morphe 35H hot spot artistry palette, I couldn't believe it. Iv wanted to try Morphe for so long. The shades are so highly pigmented and creamy. This is going to become my go to for sure!
For sheer cute appeal alone this Miss Patisserie Milk and honey bath melt was one of my favourite items in the box. I mean, can you get over the cuteness. The question is, will I bring myself to use it? Or will I just end up displaying it ha ha.
I'm actually a big fan of the colour wow Dream Coat spray and its a staple in my hair care routine, so I was delighted that this was included in the box as I do tend to go through this quite quickly. If you haven't heard of this before DREAM COAT, inspired by new textile technology, covers each hair strand with an invisible waterproofing cloak. An absolute must for anyone looking to fight frizzy hair or achieve Chris Appleton's signature glass hair styles.
A new brand to me, its great to try some products from Milk Make up. The mini face mist is an actual godsend and will be coming with on all future flights... as will the mini sunshine face oil. With a blend of natural oils like grape seed and avocado this will be the prefect flight companion as its super moisturising!
Another new brand to me Suva beauty was a fabulous discovery and one i'll definitely try again. The liquid chrome illuminating drops are fabulous mixed with foundation for a radiant look or for subtle highlights use a brush and dot on the corner of eyes, centre of eyelids and cupids bow.
The moisture matte liquid lipstick in shade awakening (such a universal lip colour) is lovely and hydrating whilst managing to last the day.
If you fancy trying out a cohorted beauty box subscription new subscribers get a free gift with “COHORTEDGIFTME”. As if you need more reasons...
This weekend my husband and I celebrate our 5 and 15!
15 years of being together, and 5 years of marriage. So I thought it was about time I shared some of our wedding photos right?
We were married in Provence (our favourite place in the world) at the 18th century Chateau de Massillan. And it remains today our favourite day ever!
We found our chateau on a road trip around the south of France, and instantly fell in love with it. So when Tony proposed, we didn't even look at anything else, we both instantly knew that we would choose Chateau de Massillan. It was perfect in every way with just the right amount of glamour whilst also managing to be rustic at the same time! It had character and style in abundance.
It was also important to us that it wasn't actually a wedding venue, as we wanted the occasion to feel intimate and unique. It actually felt like we had hired someones very beautiful home for the weekend and we could celebrate privately with our closest friends.
As a keen photographer myself, choosing our wedding photographer was a high priority on our list of vendors to secure. Good wedding photographers typically get booked up way in advance so if you want the best options get in their quick.
Your wedding photos are going to carry the memory of your wedding for a long long time so in my opinion its in the top 3 in terms of importance.
When we found our photographer Ian Holmes I knew instantly he was perfect for us. His style was exactly what we were looking for and I absolutely adore our images to this day ( if you are getting married in either Paris or Provence I could not recommend Ian more, not only were his images gorgeous but he made everyone at our wedding feel comfortable and at ease with his fabulous sense of humour )
My dress was by Vera Wang, and totally inspired by the dress Kate hudson wore in bride wars. I remember watching the movie for the first time and instantly knowing if I ever got married it would be exactly the kind of dress I would want.
They say you truly chose the perfect dress if you love after your wedding, and I can say that I actually love it even more than I did on the day!
For wedding shoes, and this was another important one for me as i'm definitely a shoe gal I couldn't decide between two pairs from Christian Louboutin. Well, if you can't be bougie on your wedding day!
Our colour theme was naturally pink (if you've followed me for a while you'll know i'm crazy about it) and gold and totally Inspired by our favourite french patisserie Laduree who also did our wedding cakes and deserts.
My husband and I have always felt like the best weddings we have been to have been the ones filled with the couples personality and personal touches, which was exactly what we tried to achieve on our wedding day.
From our favourite colour (luckily, we both love pink!) to our favourite country, our favourite patisserie and many, many more favourites. We managed to create a wedding that had so much depth and meaning to us. What more could anyone want from their most special day.

Spoken like a true bride, there were so many photos I wanted to share with you that I couldn't quite fit them into one post so pop back over later this week for Part 2 of Our Wedding
So, I explained in my previous post that we had visited Madrid previously, and didn't come away loving it. So visit this was my second chance to love it, or at least like it a little more than I had!
Its certainly a different experience visiting it in the summer as opposed to the winter. Its a much nicer place to take a stroll about when the sun is out and city is definitely more alive at this time of year. So if you had the choice of time of year to visit, id definitely recommend summer over winter.
We found a new area on explore on this trip too.
El Retiro Park is a really lovely area, which also leads to one of my favourite discovery's from our Madrid trip...
The Palacio de Cristal! A stunning 18th century crystal conservatory full of Victorian (unusual for this part of the world) style and charm.
The way it reflects the light is incredible and definitely worthy of the gram
We stumbled upon the cutest little restaurant/ tea room whilst out shopping. Its located on the top floor of a shop (which was actually very cute too) with a roof garden called El Jardin secreto festooned with beautiful flowers and plants! It had some of the prettiest deserts iv seen in a long time, which naturally we couldn't say no to!
