Today I get to share one of my favourite afternoons teas. The incredibly stylish and cosy Nimb Copenhagen. After a lovely morning exploring Copenhagen, the hubs surprised me with afternoon tea. In A ballroom no less The moment we walked into Nimb, I fell in love. It Is interior design heaven... managing to be both Glamorous and contemporary at the same time, my favourite combination It has the most wonderful cosy ambience, making it especially lovely if visiting in the winter The cosiest spot for 2 right next a huge log fire, such a romantic way to spend a birthday afternoon... and such a welcome rest bite from the cold For our first serving, we were served Cucumber sandwiches on toasted brioche bread, Croissants with warm smoked salmon mousse and Crisp rye bread with duck rillette. Fruit and nut bread with a blue cheese cream, Tea buns served with butter and black currant marmalade and “Danish” baked with marzipan, black currant and chocolate. How's that for an afternoon feast... For the middle serving, as they call it here, we were served Lemon ice cream with blueberry foam And for the second serving the most exquisite Spiced pound cake, apricot compote with caramel and milk chocolate mousse followed by Cookies and French macaroons served from the dessert cart An absolutely delicious afternoon tea in every way Afternoon tea at Nimb Copenhagen is up there amongst my favourites and a total must if your visiting Copenhagen
Keep your eyes peeled for more on our trip to Copenhagen later this week! Belle xx
