Obviously, when we found out that the four seasons served afternoon tea we couldn't miss it. And when we discovered it was served overlooking the rice fields and the Mae rim valley it was a done deal So one afternoon after a lovely lazy morning doing nothing but musing life, we trotted off to our afternoon tea. The resort has its own resident buffalo's, which you can catch at a certain time of the day for a meet and greet and a cheeky photo opp Not the worse view iv ever had ... Our afternoon tea started with a sorbet palette cleanser...just what we needed! We chose to have the Regular Set Served with Khao Soi (a regional delicacy), Chicken Wings and best of all with this type of tea set... you get to take a resort mascot home with you! The Blonde buffalo The Khao soi is absolutely delicious and a total must try. Tony could not stop raving about it for weeks afterwards Followed by lovely treats, including my favourite Mango sticky rice. It is so nice to have a new take on afternoon tea and experience something different! I wouldn't be telling the truth if I told you I hadn't totally themed my dress to fit in with the tropical background ... If you are visiting Chang Mai, I really do recommend the four seasons resort for afternoon tea... Its such a unique environment and the food is not only delicious but very authentic to the local area.
All of this matched by the most attentive and special service. What more could you ask for? Belle Xx
