In my previous post, I said that Marrakesh was full of beautiful and interesting places to stay. Well, I found The Royal Mansour and developed total hotel envy and swiftly added it to my places to stay before I die bucket list. Believe me, every hint possible has been dropped to my husband about how delighted id be to stay here It is out of this world beautiful. It has glamour, style and grace all mixed together with personality in spades. Inspired by North Africa, Spain as well as Portugal’s traditional Moorish architecture, the Royal Mansour hotel design showcases symmetry entwined with classical forms. And it offer's one of the most beautiful afternoon teas in Marrakesh. You can choose to have your tea served in either the Loggia, Lobby or in one of the Lounges. We chose the lobby, because... well it speaks for itself. One of the great things about the Royal Mansour afternoon tea is there are 3 types to choose from. A french, an English and a Moroccan. And as there were 4 of us, we decided to try all 3. I honestly could not pick a favourite, they are all so delicious. The Moroccan tea was particularly special as you could try Moroccan dishes you had only heard of before. It really was a new taste sensation From the fresh handmade marshmallows on the English tea to the Moroccan pastries on the Moroccan tea, we were well and truly spoilt for choice. The macaroons were among the best iv ever tasted Once we had finished tea, we explored the hotel. The interior design really was something else and a very inspiring and modern take on Moroccan interiors. The use of light colours bring a modern and feminine feel. During our exploration, we managed to take a look at Le Jardin, another of Le Royal Mansour's restaurants (and again added it to the list) as they were setting up for Petit dejunner, So stylish and beautiful All around olive trees, palm groves and date palms rise above the ramparts, visible from the exterior, providing a link to the city outside. Such a beautiful hotel, all the more reason to come back to Marrakech
