Anniversary celebrations with diamonds

If you follow me on  Instagram you may have seen I have just come back from the most epic trip to Italy to celebrate my husbands and I's wedding anniversary. It was quite the whistle stop tour, visiting some Italian city's that I haven't seen for over 10 years! But for the actual anniversary celebrations we saved a very special location and hotel In Lake Garda.  

I have wanted to stay at Grand hotel Villa Feltrinelli for so many years now, and it had been postponed for 2 years due to the recent pandemic so its fair to say this was an eagerly awaited adventure.  When we were shown to our suite I almost died... it was a pink suite, what could ever be more perfect form me! A coincidence? I think not...

This was to be a weekend of pure pampering, and indulgence so naturally I planned the most perfect outfits, accessories and makeup for such an occasion... packed in my favourite luggage of all time ​

For me, the details are the most important part to pay attention to when planning a romantic trip away. I packed my Beautiful white lace Christian Louboutin heels and some beautiful Agent Provocateur lingerie for this special occasion 

I also wanted to wear something beautiful on my neck for the occasion. Beautiful, special and sparkly was the brief and this Carat tennis necklace hit it perfectly. I chose the coralie because it was so dainty and delicate for an understated look. 

 I quite simply felt like a million dollars in this, it just added that little bit of glamour and sophistication that I needed for such a special evening ​

I wore a cream chiffon evening dress from asos, similar here 

We took a table outside by the waterfront for pre dinner cocktails and nibbles and reminisced the previous 8 years since we were married. The sound of the water together with some fabulous cocktails was the perfect start for an anniversary evening
