Birthday celebrations at The Marbella Club Hotel

For my birthday this year, despite my efforts to stay home and nurse a cold I picked up in India... The Hubs took me to my favourite hotel for Cocktails and Dinner.

Just a stones throw away, The Marbella Club hotel on the famous golden mile is really quite gorgeous and dripping in old school riviera glamour. An invitation too fabulous to miss so I threw on my louboutin's and headed out for the evening. 

We arrived for cocktail hour at rudi's, which has recently had an interiors update and needless to say it is absolute goals and the prefect place to start the evening. 

 I usually associate the Hotel with summer as that's when we usually tend to visit, however I was delighted by how cosy it feels in the winter months- while we are on the subject of winter, it also has a sister hotel in the Spanish mountain of Sierra Nevada which is equally divine. 

​The hubs booked us a cosy table for two in the restaurant The Grill, and its no exaggeration to say that every dish was beyond incredible. I had the most incredible Cheese Souffle that I will surely never forget. We chatted the night away, making exciting plans for the rest of the year and reminiscing about the lovely year we've just had. 

And just when I thought the evening couldn't get any better, I was presented with the most decedent chocolate cake iv seen anywhere and tasted just as exquisite as it looked. Don't you just love birthdays!  

The question is...When are we going back?
