Dinner on the beach

After a few days of rose petal bathing and relaxation, I felt like a new woman. We decided an evening of romance was definitely in order. We got out of our swimmies and into our glams and hit the beach for a cocktail or two.  

There's something about date night on holiday. Its just that little bit more indulgent and relaxing. Maybe its knowing the biggest commitment you have the next day is what to order for breakfast!

Of course there was no walking past those violet sky's without stopping for a photo or 10! (more like 100 to get a half decent shot). After all it would be quite rude to ignore an empty beach, don't you think?

We strolled along the beach in bare feet on the way to dinner, collecting seashell butterfly's as we went.  

And when I couldn't imagine the evening being any more beautiful, I caught the glimmer of a lantern out of the corner of my eye. Before us was a little private set up for two with nothing but ocean waves in front of us.

There's something romantically magical about a stormy night on the beach!
