Epicure had been on my foodie bucket list for sometime. So expectations were high. Especially as we have so many favourite restaurants in Paris. But with 3 Michelin stars and superstar Chef Eric Frechon, we knew we were about to experience exemplary excellence. Located within hotel Le Bristol, Epicure has quite the reputation having been named the best restaurant in the world. And for good reason. This was my first time visiting Le Bristol, and it swiftly got added to the "places too stay before I die" list. Its hard to know where to start when describing a perfect experience. But lets start with the food. To begin – Foie Gras Royale with Sorrel Mousse , Tandoori Spiced Crayfish Lollipop, Mushroom filled Gougere. One of Eric Frechon's signature dishes, Stuffed macaroni with artichokes, black truffle, duck foie gras and Parmesan cheese. The intensity of the flavours were incredible, and pehaps my favourite dish of the meal Pre dessert – Diced Pineapple, with Caipirinha cocktail jelly and Coconut Sorbet. A Bubble of Iced Tea with Gold leaf. The lemon from Menton, frosted with Limoncello and served with pear and preserved lemon. As incredible as it looked. And the almost to beautiful to eat chocolate dome with gold accents! And then came the sweet trolley (in our book you can never have enough sweet things) which just happened to be the cutest thing ever! The largest selection of Macaroons and Chocolate delights. Fresh and delicate perfection and oh so cute After the loveliest afternoon at Epicure, we took a stroll in the gardens of Le Bristol to admire the beautiful Magnolia tree and orange trees. A beautiful peaceful oasis in the heart of busy bustling pairs, and the perfect end to an incredible afternoon Our visit to Le Bristol was a gigantic tick off our bucket list, and exceeded all of our expectations. This experience was without doubt an amazing moment
