I realised that I haven't shared any of our guest rooms on my blog and what good a time as any to share them than while we are in lock down and I have some time to photograph them!
We actually have 7 bedrooms in the Villa! We chose to use 2 for my dressing room and Shroom/office, while the rest are used when we have guests to stay! Whilst it sounds great having so many guestrooms, its a nightmare to keep on top of the cleaning. Today i'm sharing the littlest but to me, the cutest room in the Villa. Up until lock down i'd say this room has been the most neglected of all of our rooms. However, this room is a favourite because of its quirky little features ... its 2 little balcony's with their grey french doors and super cute fireplace. The villa is an Spanish cortijo, which basically means Andalusian farmhouse... so naturally I chose a very traditional style of decor for the majority of the Villa. The Villa was the closest thing we could find to our beloved Provence in Spain, and really feels like a French house thanks to the french architect who built it.
As you can probably tell, i'm a fan of a dress cushion... something that my husband has always laughed at me for. I just find they have a way of making a room feel more dressed and cosy and adding a little design flair to any room.
