Whenever the Hubs and I feel like getting away for the weekend, our go to is Seville. It is the perfect weekend escape. Its a city that has it all... incredible architecture, good food, and an in intoxicating atmosphere.
Each time we visit, we find something new to love. A new restaurant, coffee shop or building. Its a city full of discovery.
For Easter weekend we visited Seville for the night to see the Semana Santos celebrations. Although the City is can be so much busier than usual especially during the processions, its still one of my favourite times to visit. The vibe is truly incredible!
After a late night of procession watching, we headed an for an early breakfast
We stopped off at one of our favourite cafes in Seville, cafeteria la campania which goes right back to the 18th century. If you love fresh croissants, have a sweet tooth and or a penchant for an incredible cup of coffee, this is your place.
A little trick for when you are visiting Seville is to get up and out early and youll have the streets to yourself. The Spanish definitely like to do things later in the day, so this way you'll beat the crowds and many of the tourists and get to appreciate the true beauty of Seville.
Have you ever visited Seville?
