Usually during the festive season I am too busy traveling and running around decorating when I do finally get home finding any and every possible room, tree, door or free surface I can get my hands on that I don't actually have the time to share the finished decorations with you... unless its on Insta story's!
Last year was a perfect example of this, Months of work and barely any blog posts!
Obviously this year is completely different for so many of us! With barely any travel at all this year and more time than I know what to do with I have sifted through all of last years photo's to share with you. I thought it was especially important as this year will be so different for so many reason... more on that to come soon.
You may have already read some of my tips for creating the perfect Christmas tree so now Ill show you the finished results starting with my festive red hallway! You may remember that I used to do the red and white tree in the Salon, but last year I really fancied a change and swapped it out for White and gold and I think it really works as first festive impression.
One of my favourite things to decorate at Christmas are the fireplaces and we are lucky to have a multitude to work with. I amass as much greenery as I can lay my hands on... not an easy job in southern Spain and actually one of the things I miss about the U.k is being able to get my hands on lots of winter greenery.
Using a mixture of red and white baubles, ornaments and ribbon I spend hours placing and re placing the decorations. It does take time and patience to get the balance right but the end results are so worth it to me and I find a glass of mulled wine and Christmas tunes makes it so much fun and very enjoyable!
Once its all finished its so rewarding to stand back, switch on the fairy lights and light the candles to admire your handiwork in all of its glory!
We also dress the stairways in garlands and ribbons to tie in the hallway decor and keep the festive vibes going throughout the villa. This is the only area that I currently use faux foliage but I think next year i'll try and go natural here to!
And of course, I leave no area untouched by festive glamour adding ribbons and garland to the upstairs chandelier and complimenting with red poinsettias. The final touches come in the way of my favorite festive candle scent Jo Malone pomegranate noir
And finally Christmas just isn't Christmas in our house without my favourite Mouse king nutcracker!
I hope this post gives you some inspiration for you're Christmas decorations this year!

Remarkable article, it is particularly useful! I quietly began in this, and I'm becoming more acquainted with it better! https://gumroad.com/uaeonlinemall/p/the-keys-to-success-in-investing-in-real-estate Delights, keep doing more and extra impressive!
