The Seychelles

For our 3rd wedding anniversary, my husband asked me if there was anything I wanted, and my reply was "an adventure together".

So he took me to the Seychelles.  And it was such an incredible experience that I had to  tell you about it.  ​

We always try to stay on 2 at least different islands when we visit somewhere so we can  experience the different vibes that these little islands quite often have. First up was Raffles Praslin.   

Despite it being the second biggest island in the Seychelles, it feels completely accessible. And its beaches often make the 10 beaches most beautiful beaches in the world list...

After an amazing experience at Raffles Singapore for our anniversary the year before, we felt like Raffles Praslin was sure win. Its also right next to Anse lazio, One of the famous beaches I mentioned.

After a lovely drink to greet us after our extremely long journey (Its One of the world’s most far flung destinations, nestled right in the Indian Ocean) We were taken to our room. ​

Which was not only lovely, but they had laid out anniversary treats for us! So special when hotels go the extra mile for their guests  

But the best part was the view!

It did not take long for us to dip our toes in the warm water and shake off the jet lag. 

And watch the sun come down and the skies turn to shades of pink and purple.

Before heading out to dinner and a few Holiday cocktails to well and truly get in the vacation vibe!
