Since we moved to Spain and Gibraltar a little under a year ago, I have wanted to visit the seaside Spanish town of Tarifa. As it is just over an hours drive from our home we ran out of excuses not to visit, especially on a glorious spring day!
As we made our way through the picturesque cobbled streets we could smell the divine sent of orange blossom in the air.
I have really grown to love and appreciate the Andalusian style of architecture whilst living here. The gleaming tiles and the ornate window boxes are so unique to this area.
And then there are the white washed buildings which line the streets against the backdrop of the bluest sky.
Not only do you have the cutest cobbled streets and some of the best coffee bars and tapas that Spain has to offer, you also have miles of beach to explore.
The clear blue waters are a sight to behold. We took a slow walk along the beach, basking in the sun, knowing full well if we were back home in England we would be wrapped up to keep out the cold.
Tarifa has a lovely Bohemian chilled vibe, great for relaxing and taking in the Andalusian culture.
I can see us becoming regulars to Tarifa, it would be rude not to!
