When we were looking for places to see and do in Ho Chi Minh City I literally could not believe my eyes and my luck when we discovered this unbelievable pink church. Is this not what pink dreams are made of?
Tan Dinh, The pink church in Ho Chi Minh City is one of those things that is absolutely a million times better in real life that on photos. Not only is it the most wonderful shade of pink (truly the pinkest, pastel peony, unicorn shade you can imagine) and edged in white lacy detail, but it was also built by a French architect. See, it was literally built for me to love! It was quite surprising to me that Tan Dinh isn't listed as one of the main attractions to see in Saigon. To me, its the main thing to see lol!
Peeking out in all of its pink fabulousity, along quite a busy road, not too far from Tan Dinh market. The road actually has some cool shops along it! This beauty quite literally made my day and I will always love that we got to see it.
Even luckier for me, is that we were visiting when it was dressed up in all of its glory for the festive season. Adorned with fairy lights and giant stars, it really is quite something to see. Have you ever seen a Church so perfectly made for the Gram?
Whilst photographing and appreciating Tan Dinh from every possible angle it suddenly occurred to me that this little beauty would be lit up as night fell and what a wondrous sight that would be. So I managed to talk the hub's into hanging around to see it all lit up.
As sun went down and the sparkly lights came on, we were so glad that we stuck around. Because if I thought it Tan Dinh was cute in the daytime , it had nothing on it all lit up. And I also hadn't seen any photos online of it all lit up. The things we do for a great photo.
