When I first heard that there was a ski resort in Spain not far from where I live, you could have knocked me down with a feather. How is it possible, its always so sunny and warm. Even in the winter, it never feels like winter! But it is true. Europe's most southerly ski resort, Sierra Nevada sits on the northwestern slopes of Veleta, the third highest peak in Spain. There is something quite special to be able to spend the day by the beach one day and the next hitting the slopes. You could say its the perfect holiday... Its only a small resort, but there is so much to do, and the apres ski is enhanced by the addition of tapas.
