If You're searching for the best places to eat in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam look no further, Iv done all the hard work for you! A cute little cafe for cakes and coffees. Try the red velvet cake... it’s heavenly, as are the cupcakes. This place had me the moment I saw the hand painted palm print facade (more detailed post here) We stumbled upon this place, desperate for refreshments after walking around around for hours in the heat of the afternoon and what a little find it was. The loveliest staff and great coffee and iced tea. Not to mention the cute interior! It’s a yes from me When I heard about the famous Vietnamese egg coffee I wasn’t sure if I wanted to try it. And then I thought we’d go and see what it was all about but I wouldn’t drink it. But after being seriously enchanted by the little cafe set on three rickety floors that feel like they are going to collapse a bit, I decided if I’d risked my life (dramatic, me? )by going all the way to the top (of course I chose the top floor) then I might as well give it a go. So glad I did, because to me, it tasted like marshmallow coffee. Totally recommend and then some! I loved the story behind Maison Marou almost as much as I loved the exquisite patisserie and hot chocolate. You’ll also be seduced by the super cool packaging on their product, I wanted to buy it all! A lovely little place! Afternoon tea at the hotel des arts is a really lovely affair. It’s travel theme make it feel fun and adventurous, and the food achieves the same. Infused with Vietnamese flair, it’s not your usual scones and sandwiches affair. A lovely way to spend the afternoon! We loved El Gaucho so much that we visited twice during our stay! The food is absolutely delicious, and a real welcome for when your tire of Vietnamese cuisine. In fact it’s one of the best steaks we’ve had anywhere! Runam D’or Is a lovely little spot for lunch. Think colonial architecture and palm prints while enjoying a fabulous cocktail. I had the eggs Benedict which were superb! This little hidden away cafe is so hidden away you’d almost certainly miss it if you didn’t know about it before hand. In one of those places you really have to question if your going the right way and if you should be there! But you absolutely should, because of you are in any way a coffee fan this place is incredible. I actually watched the barista throw away an entire bag of beans because he wasn’t quite happy with the result. A must! Afternoon tea at the Park Hyatt Saigon Set in opulent grandeur, if you are after fabulous and fancy the park Hyatt is for you. This beautiful hotel is the perfect sanctuary against the backdrop of the craziness of The Ho Chi Minh City hustle. Super pretty and totally delicious... This place was my absolute favourite find of the whole trip. I literally thought I’d died and gone to heaven. What could be more me? A beautiful cafe come florist. You order your drinks and or lunch and watch the florists at work while you wait. You are surrounded by the most beautiful flowers. And then when your order arrives, it is presented in the most beautiful tray filled with flowers. I have to say I was beside myself with excitement here. To add to all of this, it’s the cutest space to explore and if you ask nicely they'll let you explore the roof garden. If you only visit one place on this list, make it Padma de Fleur If you have any recommendations that I haven't included please let me know about them in the comments as I'm sure i'll return to Ho Chi Minh City one day. Belle Xx
