For me, summer is all about entertaining. Its all about making the most of those long warm luxurious nights spent with the people you love and love to be around.
Of course a time to play hostess and create a cute environment for your favourites to relax in.
I'm always trying the find new and interesting ways to utilise the outside spaces in our home. I feel so lucky to live somewhere that inspires me creatively and I never want to take that for granted.
For this particular soiree I thought it would be lovely to make use out of our little herb patio. Its much moor intimate than the the outside living areas at our Cortijo.
I used a mixture of green and pink water tumblers and balloon glasses from LSA (here) which I am absolutely in love with and I feel really add a bit of glamour to the table
We grow a variety of fresh herbs here and when they are in bloom they are particularly pretty. From strawberry flowers to flowering basil... with a little touch or sage and rosemary. Not only is it so pretty but the smell is incredible
In the daytime its filled with pretty butterfly's dotting around, so I wanted to try and replicate the look. Unfortunately, real butterfly's don't stay where id like them placed so I had to bring in some fake ones
I set the table as golden hour started to hit the patio, bathing the whole area in the most beautiful golden hue
Where possible iv added links to the items I have used for the tablescape (with substitutes for the ones I couldn't find)
Xoxo Belle
