Anse Source D'Argent

We managed to drag ourselves away from the perfection of the six senses resort to go and spend the day on the Island of La Digue 

Just a short boatride away on perfect blue waters 

You arrive on a perfect white sand beach only occasionally interrupted by giant granite boulders  

And follow the signs along the coast to Anse Source D'argent 

The 30 minute beach walk from la reunion to la digue is something out of a movie. Not another person to be seen, we had the entire coastline to ourselves  

With plenty of photo opps along the way 

Anse Source D'Argent slowly revealing more and more of itself in the distance 

The blue skys , aqua marine water, and bendy coconut trees are truly incredible.   

And great views of Praslin from a distance 

I literally could not put my camera down, everything was so blue and perfect

One of the most photographed beaches in the world, Anse Source D'Argent has been the star of many films, adverts and tv shows for its pure white sand and unique boulders. 

We had heard that this was one of the busiest beaches so we set of a little earlier before the other tourists arrived .

And if you tire of Paradise, you could always go jewellery shopping 

Or have a coconut freshly cracked open for you... complete with coordinating hibiscus flower 

Picture yourself paradise - and chances are it looks a lot like this. If your in the Seychelles, Anse Source D'argent is not be missed. My recommendation is set off early, take the beach walk and leave before it gets super busy!
