For the first part of our Italian Roadtrip, we made Castel Monastero home. Beautifully secluded, but in the perfect location for exploring Sienna, San Gimignano and Monteriggioni and the mysterious charm of Volterra, (a stop totally inspired by the twighlight series) Its one of those places, where you feel like your the only ones there... Surrounded by vinyards and lavender, it smells unreal We started our day with coffee, before taking the day out to enjoy such a lovely hotel There are so any places to discover and explore, everything picture perfect. And once you've explored every inch, you can take a dip in the pool. Caste Montastero also has an amazing restaurant. And im a big advocate of not having to leave your hotel every night for Dinner. Its sometimes lovely to be able to take a leisurely walk (in your highest heels) to dinner, fresh and perfectly put together. To start we ordered the sharing platter, which was as amazing as it looked. Followed by a refreshing cocktail and the risotto for the main course. And to cap the night off, we had petit fours and a coffee. Perfect The perfect end to the perfect day. Fully refreshed and ready to explore Sienna the next day.

I can't quite believe that iv been writing (I say writing, I really mean sharing photography) for over a year and I am only just posting about my all time favourite city, Paris.
There is no better feeling, than getting dressed up for date night... unless date night is holiday date night.
After a delightful few days on Praslin Island, we departed on a slightly grey day to our next Island, Félicité.
Is there anything better than waking up to this view from your own villa pool? As it happens, there is...
For our 3rd wedding anniversary, my husband asked me if there was anything I wanted, and my reply was "an adventure together".
For this trip to Barca we stayed at Soho house. Somewhere iv wanted to experience for quite some time, and somewhere I felt would be a fitting hotel concept for such a fun, energetic city (anyone else like to match the vibe of a city to the hotel?)
So, onto the obvious first. The building is gorgeous. And it goes without saying, because its soho house...but the interiors are fantastic. Its marries with the Spanish style perfectly.
The hallways are blue panelling goals
And the bedrooms views are EVERYTHING. Whats not to love about a view of port vell Marina?
All the details are there...marshall radios... floral teapots and cut glass cocktail glasses
And a giant bed you want to dive right into. We did...it dod not stay that tidy for long.
Evidence!?!...like you need it
Time to rustle up a cocktail or two and order the house cheeseboard...heavenly
"Eeny, meeny, miny, moe"
My only "problem" with Soho house Barcelona is that its so good, has everything you need in one place...that you forget you have beautiful city to explore...
For more Barca adventures see here and here Belle xx After a another lovely morning at our hotel we set off for another day of exploration and yummy food finds
