Last year we visited Seville during holy week as we had heard it was truly something to experience, and we were not disappointed (I wrote about it in this post)
So naturally I wanted to go back this year. We also like to stay local After a lovely morning pottering about the city, we went to one of our favourite cafes Filo for a sugar fix. If sugar isn't you're thing though don't worry, they actually have a super healthy menu. Trust us to behave badly!
for the Easter break so we can invite friends around for dinners and enjoy the last months of tolerable temperate before the summer kicks in. So a couple of days in Seville is perfect as its only 2 hours away
The processions are incredible, but actually just to be in Seville (in any southern Spanish city in fact) during holy week is something special. Yes, its much busier than usual but to see the town decorated for the celebrations and the feeling of celebration in the air makes it all worthwhile.
