I left my heart...

As soon as I knew we would be visiting San Francisco, I instantly knew where we would stay...

I mean, where else would full-fill my chandelier goals?

Or hotel lobby flower goals for that matter? Non other than The palace hotel...

Isn't she a beaut? Not only is the palace hotel beautiful, but its also in a great location to explore the city... which is exactly what we did as soon as we checked in our bags.

For me, seeing a city for the first time is like seeing a movie for the first time... the feeling of excitement is unbeatable 

It was such a beautiful day to explore the city and a walk along the river 

And even take a boat to see the golden gate bridge and Alcatraz

Remember to wrap up warm... its windy out here. So much for my blow dry!

It’s a great way to see San Fran from a different perspective... even if it means you do the tourist thing .

Once back on dry land we strolled to Pier 39 

We stopped off for some famous clam chowder in a sour dough bowl. An absolute must!

Before taking a stroll through the lovely ferry plaza market place. You can get everything here from organic mushrooms to artisan cheese. And the most Delicious pasties from meiette patisserie 

Its a great place to shop, eat and drink... and awesome for watching the world go by 

And than it was off to see my favorite girls. The one and only painted ladies 

They were  perhaps my favorite thing to see in San Fran... I know they are ultimately just a row a pastel houses. But, the are so beautiful. The architecture is so pretty, I spent the remainder of our trip fantasizing about living in one
