I mentioned in my previous post that I'd been spending most of my time during lock down cleaning, tiding and re organising our villa as it seems most of you guys are too. Seeing people posting on social media about how they are investing in their homes has been really inspiring to me.
For me, home is the most special place in the world, the place that you can truly make your own and fill with the things you love.
Last week I decided to oust all of the awful plastic that had been creeping in, swearing never again would it be allowed to re enter and replaced everything with natural and sustainable products instead. Iv always been a decanter, as I just hate ugly plastic bottles. Things look so much better in beautiful glass bottles. Sadly, I'm somewhat limited in the products I can get here in Spain and Gibraltar. Even most things on amazon are a challenge! I usually do the majority of my shopping when I visit the UK (there are currently 3 suitcases of shopping waiting for me at my sisters house for when I eventually get back) For these purchases I had to rely on good old Zara Home, which quite frankly has kept me sane during these months at home with no where to go and they really do have an undeniably cute range. But when I can eventually shop as id like to i'll add more to this. I changed all of the bottles to glass refillable ones which not only make me feel a little better but also look much nicer than plastic.
I'm so pleased that there isn't a plastic bottle of scrubber in site! It also looks much cuter... after all, its all in the details!
