Happy New year everyone, and welcome to the first post of 2018!!!
Yes, I know I am terribly late to the party! This month has well and truly gotten away from me

For me, and for many people id imagine... January is an amazing month full of promise (and i'm not just saying that because its my Birthday month!!! )

Its all about fresh starts, new beginnings, making new goals and plans and appreciating all you have 

So I thought id share some pictures of our home in Spain, as its somewhere i'm incredibly grateful for and that brings me so much happiness

And iv been able to spend some much appreciated time here (I feel like im always away recently!) but admittedly that's probably because I am a total homebody

Don't get me wrong, I live for travel and the experiences that come with it, but I equally love being at home and know how lucky I am to have the opportunity to experience another country and its culture (and fantastic weather)

 As soon as I saw this garden, I was immediately transported back to the south of France (where my husband and I were married) and I knew this was our home.

To me, it feels like a Sofia Coppola movie... dreamy light dancing around to the sound of nature

Our gardens are really something special. If I’d grown up here as a child I’d have been convinced fairy’s and fantastic creatures lived here.
Its so quiet, without another person or home to be seen making it incredibly private and serene.
The cork trees add to the fairy tale vibe and the fragrance of lavender fills the garden. Its really the most magical place. After 2 years of living here, I’m still taken back by its beauty.
