Springtime in Paris

Paris is beautiful in every season, but I am a the biggest fan of Paris in the spring!

The blossom trees are everywhere making it look even prettier than usual 

It is the perfect time of year to get lost in the city, stopping for a cafe creme whenever your feet need a rest.

Another of our favourite restaurants is Angelina, again one from way back when and has now become uber famous. Its not only a favourite because of its extraordinary hot chocolate and the fact we share the same name

Or even because its patisserie and desserts are exquisite (and less floral tasting than some of the laduree desserts). Its a favorite because it savory dishes are super delicious. Favorites of mine are Croque-Monsieur (heavenly) and Truffle ravioli, Parmesan cream, rocket salad (mind blowing)

And it would be rude not to finish off with one of the incredible desserts I mentioned earlier (did I mention that I also put on weight in Paris, and its worth every extra lbs)

After such delights the best thing to do is walk off all of those calories around the city.

Taking in all of the beautiful architecture and historic buildings at the same time 

Or get lost in the side streets and find some beautiful shops 

Find your way to Saint-Germain-des-Prés, one of my favourite areas in Paris 

And to one of the many famous Coffee bars. One of my favourites is Cafe de Flore 

Order a glass of wine or a cafe (and perhaps one of their incredible pastry of the day, anDs split it with a friend so you don't feel guilty)

And watch the world go by
