On the third and final leg of our Thailand adventure, we travelled to a little Island of Yao Noi, in the Phang nga bay. For me the beauty of the Phang nga bay really made it stand out as the island to visit.
We decided to stay at the six senses resort
The six senses resort is not only special in its unique setting but that it manages to marry both luxury and sustainability perfectly. Its a resort with a conscious, but doesn't compromise on beauty and attention to detail.
Before we made our reservation, I had researched the brand values, so I expected big things .... and big things it delivered.
The design and ascetics of the resort are beautiful, clever and visually stimulating. Everywhere you go there is something interesting to see, all surrounded by the beauty of nature in perfect harmony
I couldn't wait to explore... but first to check out our villa
As I came to learn, this resort was big on the little things
And who doesn't love champagne on ice on arrival
And then there is the bathroom!
These lemongrass bath salts were so amazing (and refilled every day) that as soon as we returned home I learned to make my own. Recipe in this post
I couldn't quite believe that id be waking up to this view every morning, and it changed continuously depending on the weather or the time of day. In this particular light, it evoked images of fairy's which is why I nicknamed it the fairy Islands.
Erm... how cute is this Tuk Tuk fire engine. Cutest thing ever!
And did I mention that there is a little cafe that serves ice cream (of every flavour imaginable) and cookies in the afternoon ... for free!!!!
The resort really is unique in its details. I loved this super cute mushroom hut in the organic garden. And again not only was it super cute but delivers sustainable, fresh produce for the resort's guests... whats not to love?
Beautiful nature and wildlife are immense at the resort, and luckily I managed to capture this magnificent butterfly whilst exploring. Isn't she a beaut? By the way, did you know butterfly's taste with their feet?
After a lovely day getting to know our surroundings, we decided to relax in our beautiful villa and enjoy some in-room dining ... after all, discovering all of those cute things was tiring
