You might have read my earlier post about an Afternoon tea we did at the Park Hyatt, Saigon? Well we actually did another afternoon tea, this time at the hotel we were staying at in Ho Chi Minh City, Hotel Des Arts, Saigon. I was even more keen to do this one when I discovered that this was a parisienne/travel themed tea (no surprises there) Its all vintage traveller themed, with the menu printed on a boarding card. How unbelievably cute! If I thought the theme of the tea was cute, that's nothing on the actual tea. Mini lobster burgers, salmon canapes and other Vietnamese infused treats are served in a mini vintage style luggage. And as it's the festive season, the desserts naturally had a little nod towards Christmas! Too cute. We were served free flowing Champagne, which really got us in the spirit for the new years festivity's later that evening. Afternoon tea at Hotel des arts, Saigon was the perfect 1930 Indochine adventure! I'd definitely recommend booking if you are travelling to Ho Chi Min City.
