Living in Spain is awesome! Whats not to love? There's the culture, the weather, the cuisine, the lifestyle and ultimately its one big adventure.
But there are a couple of downsides. One of those being that we don't get to see our friends as much!
So, our remedy to that is our annual Spanish weekend. We invite our closest friends for a weekend of sun, sea and sangria
And sometimes I get carried away and throw a bit of a party.
This year, I got truly over excited and hosted an enchanted garden party.
I was inspired by ourlovely gardens, with its beautiful and very enchanting cork trees.
And let's not kid anyone, any excuse to go crazy at the florist's...
A beautiful tablescape is a magic to me, I really do have quite the obsession!
For this party, I wanted it to look delicate and pretty with lots of crystal. And grey added into the mix to give a french shabby chic feel.
The evening started with sangria and canapes!
We also hired caterers for the event. I think if I'd have undertaken the food as well as the styling on this I might have lived to regret it. It was actually a totally genius move as it meant I could enjoy the evening as a guest too and spend quality time catching up with friends
I hung glass baubles from pink and grey ribbon in the trees ... and filled them with a mixture of roses and tealights

I also hung fairy lights from one of the cork trees to create a backdrop (and a photo op location) for the guests
For party favours, I chose for the ladies, charbonnel et walker truffles and for the gentlemen, mini bottles of tequila
The fairy lights really helped to create the magical enchanted feel I wanted. So easy and yet so effective
For the table arrangements, I chose pink and white hydrangeas, Pink Esperance roses and Cream Vendela roses. I also added pink Hermosa roses.
I placed largeblock candles in glass vases and grouped them together
We decided a Spanish style buffet would be a fitting option for the guests.
I must admit, I absolutely love hosting pretty party's. It gives me such pleasure to think of a theme and execute it the way I imagine it in my head. Not only this but its so nice to surprise and delight our guests. I really wanted to thank them for making the trip to visit us and create something a little more special.
