Lunching at Finca Cortesin
I have found a new favourite place! In the heart of the Spanish Costa del Sol between Marbella and Sotogrande, overlooking the warm Mediterranean sea is Finca Cortesin. It is utterly impeccable and oh so stylish, not to mention it has a golf course, spa, beach club and 4 restaurants to choose from. Finca Cortesin showcases Andalusian style and hospitality at its very best.
When my Friend Anna (who knows her way around Spain much better than I) invited me for a day of shopping and followed by lunch, I literally jumped at the chance. Finca had been on my list for sometime after hearing of its fabulousness though friends). I really do love when I find somewhere that really embraces its surrounding area and culture to its core. Boy, does Finca tick that box!
We ate at El Jardin De Lutz, an elegant yet relaxed restaurant serving traditional Spanish cuisine. The interior of the restaurant showcases tall ceilings, clay tiled floors and antiques and Portuguese painted tiles.
The food was just as delicious as the restaurant décor . Executive chef, Lutz Bösing certainly lives up to his reputation.
After lunch we explored the beautiful grounds, which despite just returning to season, still looked beautiful.
Before we left, we enjoyed coffee in the blue bar, and I fell head over heels in love with its amazing hand-painted wallpaper. I am currently on the search for this exact paper for our home!
If you are travelling to Andalusia, I highly recommend Finca Cortesin! You will not be disappointed.
